Heroes of Helfron

Founded approximately Y.E. 1504 (A.D. 1990)

. The Kingdom of Helfron was probably the first area of Terrania to be developed. Soon after I became a DM, my first major epic adventure was probably "The Mystery of The Mind Slayers". This adventure laid down the foundations of Helfron and eventually Terrania.

     I guess the most memorable thing about the Heroes of Helfron was Wolverine's Holy Avenger. I randomly rolled it up. How was I to know it would be the bane of my existence? Here's an advice for aspiring DMs: READ THE DESCRIPTION OF MAGICAL ITEMS BEFORE PLACING THEM IN THE CAMPAIGN.

Defenders of Britannia

     The observant reader would have noticed that the kingdoms of Britannia and Germania stick out like sore thumbs. Well, it would be some years later before I decided to have my own world. At the time, I guess I just needed a homeland for the campaign. Nevertheless, I decided (in the end) to put my life's work into Terrania. So there...

UTAF stands for United avion Trading And Finance. In all my years as a DM, I have never seen any adventuring party so interested in setting up a multi-national corporation interested in world domination. This party is based in Avion and at present, UTAF is rich, powerful and influential. And they don't even control a single army nor own any castles! Now that's got to be high fantasy...

At the end of the Heroes' Gallery, a huge green-marble monolith looms over you, covered by a velvet cloth... Is this the "Siege Perilous"?

Not so... but it is equivalent... At present, you note that no names have been inscribed on it... yet.

These heroes have displayed heroism and courage above the call of duty. The people of Terrania are eternally grateful to them.
