History

Thoras is something of a barbarian prince in Kaldoria. The only heir to the chieftainship of the "Stormblade" clan

Thora's father, the chieftain, united the 3 barbarian clans. Namely the Valder clan, Egree-il-vac clan and the Demertis Highlanders. These three clans were one rival clans which were plagued with war for many centuries. In the midst of the wars, the shamans of the clans saw, as an omen, a sign that the clans would be united again. The man responsible would be Vi-Dac (pronounced Ve-deck) Stormblade (the father that Thoras does not remember). Vi-Dac was later united with his wife Selena Kravis, who was one of the princesses of the Amazons. Being the leader of the largest barbarian clan in history, Vi-Dac decided that he would bring up his son (Thoras) to be the greatest barbarian chief. Vi-Dac planned to train Thoras and bring him up with the best teachers he could get. Vi-Dac even betrothed a wife to him at the age of 3!

However, Thoras was the only survivor in a great massacre where the entire clan was wiped out and razed to the ground. Only 3 summers at the time, baby Thoras was placed in a basket and left to drift down the Kaldorian river in the hope that he would one day return and avenge the clan.

Thoras was picked up from the Kaldorian river in Thimes by a couple who raised him. The couple passed away when Thoras was in his teens, leaving him to wander the streets. During this period, an accident scarred his face, forcing Thoras to wear a mask.
